No two people are exactly alike.   Tara pulls from many different therapeutic models allowing her to tailor a unique approach for each client.     Tara chooses to keep her caseload small so she can put her full energy into each person she sees.   Tara gets to know each of her clients as individuals and creates a safe place to work through challenges.

Therapeutic models utilized:

  • Attachment-based

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

  • Eclectic

  • Family Systems

  • Narrative

  • Neuro-Linguistic (NLP)

  • Psychodynamic

  • ‘Rhythms of Regulation’ (Polyvagal Informed Practice)

  • Trauma Focused

Office environment:
Tara practices in a comfortable office suite in a newer building.   The space includes a welcoming waiting room with a coffee machine and two offices.  It is a calm, low stress environment where you do not have to worry about running into lots of other people.

Ages of clients:

Tara works with teenagers and adults.  If there is a family issue and younger children are involved, kids sometimes attend a session or two but Tara generally refers children to other therapists if more help is needed.
